| Along with running, lifting weights has always been a favorite of Majken's, and in the fall of 1996 she decided to take it further. Majken dedicated eight months entirely to bodybuilding, which resulted in 5 medals (3 NPC). Reaching her goal as a 1st Place medalist (2x1st, 1x2nd and 1x3rd) within eight months. Once her goal was accomplished she decided to move on and away from bodybuilding, returning to running. The morning following Majken's last bodybuilding show, she entered a 5K race. Her race time was 20.10 minutes - a 6.48 min/mile, winning her age group. Within two months Majken had reduced her 5K race pace to a sub 6.
Then came a time of fashion, beauty and runway modeling, which required not only a complete change in body composition, but also a drastic change in thought pattern, attitude, behavior etc. Things happened fast! Pictures from Majken's first test-shoot were sold to the titanium, rimless eyewear line of industrial designer Kazuo Kawasaki. Her images became the company's signature print ads for their campaign in the states... Even though Majken experienced great success in high-end fashion modeling, she was drawn back to sports! A change in direction would soon land her her first national TV commercial - as a principal in NIKE's "Wild Horses". This led to a string of additional national and international commercials including numerous print ad campaigns.
In 2003 Majken accidentally came across the opportunity to do some Stunt work and literally threw herself into the art.
2006 became the year when Majken rekindled work relations with her native country Denmark, as a Published Writer, Correspondent, and a Presenter/Speaker at fitness conventions and similar events. |

| In May of 2007 Majken went in for hip surgery - more specifically right hip micro-fracture surgery. An attempt to rebuild new "cartilage" in a joint. With an expected recovery time of 1-2 years she has had no choice but to put her running shoes on the shelf and to avoid risky stunt roles, at least for now...
It has not slowed her down though!
These days she can be seen on her road/race bike with her teammates from Team VRC: NOW-MS Society. Her first race is scheduled for the beginning of 2008.
During all of Majken's endeavors she has, as a Personal Trainer, kept her desire to work with people from all walks of life.
